Disco Dance Freestyle, much like Disco Dance, is free and encompasses a range of borrowed steps from other genres of dance, all kinds of movements are permitted, but Disco Dance steps and movements dominate. Disco bares some similarities to Freestyle and employs the use of centre body rhythm throughout, accented lines and strong technical movements at high speeds which are characteristic of this dance style. The main difference between the above mentioned styles is that Disco Dance Freestyle encompasses elements as would be found in gymnastics/acrobatic. Dancers are seen transitioning in and out of these gymnastics/acrobatic elements as smoothly as seamlessly as possible incorporating Disco Dance elements throughout.
